Introducing Sweet Asexy Love Day
On March 14th, one month after valentines day, asexuals, grey-a’s and our allies are invited to kick off this long-standing tradition. Here’s how it works:
Step 1) Find one or more relationships in which you are nonsexually intimate.
Step 2) Do whatever makes your relationship most awesome.
Step 3) Take a picture of it.
Step 4) Write something about your relationship and why it’s awesome on the picture, like so:
Step 5) Submit the picture to asexylove.tumblr.com or email it to asexylove@asexuality.org
Questions, caveats and clarifications:
What counts as a “nonsexually intimate relationship”?
Any relationship that’s important in your life for reasons other than sex. A romantic partner could count, but they already have Valentine’s Day. Maybe it’s one or more close friends. Or maybe it’s a group that you’re really close with. Or maybe it’s a pet. Or maybe it’s your favorite book.
Can I celebrate more than one relationship?
Definitely. Submit as many pictures as you like.
Isn’t March 14th already Pi Day?
Yes, feel free to celebrate both simultaneously.
